Having heard of the Rebecca Eames story through tv shows and other books, this is a very interesting and full of life account. Enjoying so far.

Peni Jo Renner has written the story of her multiple great grandmother with care and artfulness. The flow of the story is smooth, quick, and believable. There are no distractions. I personally became involved with each of the characters, their struggles, strengths and flaws. Where the factual record remaining is thin, the author fleshed out the story with well researched creative reasoning.
