Also Julie, you forced her to come, you can't get mad at her attitude when she clearly did not want to be there in the first place.

This whole "Tracy is being a angsty teen" stuff is bothering me so much. It's obvious that she is annoyed and uncomfortable at dad's house and seeing the trope of "teens think they are too old for cartoons" is pissing me off. It's not very hard to portray human emotions as human emotions instead of just "teen angst" and "she's just being dramatic"

Very early into the book and I can tell there is already some of that idealic, nostalgic, and a cozy type of magical in the writing and tone that I eat up with every AG holiday book
