They’re not even trying to color Riktor like he’s Mexican, and I dont understand why they would bring up a topic like suicide if they’re not going to deal with it seriously.

I think it’s really cool when writers just get to play around with lesser-known characters in self-contained stories, because that’s often when you get the best stuff. The noir aesthetic is super cool too, and the mysteries are intriguing. Madrox is especially a really interesting character to examine, leading all those different lives as the multiple man. All in all, good book so far.

Just finished #6, and I'm definitely enjoying this series! I do feel like, at the moment, not all of the characters get a chance for enough 'screen time', but I guess that can't be helped in this format. Rahne and Syren are great characters, and the little bit that has been revealed about Madrox's and Layla's powers is intriguing. Also, Ryan Sook's artwork is gorgeous, definitely my favourite style so far.

There are a lot of different characters, but Peter David manages to give each of them a unique voice. Fav characters so far are Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane and Layla Miller.
