Status Updates From The Orenda

I am really really enjoying this so far and the pages are flying by. I learned that there are a controversy or two surrounding this book, which makes me feel a little conflicted (especially the pieces about the author lying about his indigenous heritage) but also has brought up a number of meta questions, deepening my thoughts and discussions around this book and who gets to tell what stories.

Excellent beginning that already has me sucked in. This follows 3 POVs so far; an Indegnious Chief, the girl he captured from another nation and a Jesuit priest sent to convert the new world. So well written already. I've invested and excited to read more.
