I started this book expecting it to be orientalist and racist and Eurocentric. I did not expect that in addition to that, it would also be sexist and Zionist. lol

Most of the details about these women are their physical descriptions, romantic lives, the stories of their relationships with men—exes and lovers and husbands. Their journeys to the Middle East are completely secondary. It’s really unfair and the book title/description are misleading
