i’m enjoying this but this girl knew her mum was on the run her whole fucking life. she’s not exactly stupid. why hasn’t she put 2 and 2 together… let alone the fact vitals are being kidnapped …. they’re clearly after HER.

Maybe it’s my late middle age brain but I worry she’s gonna fall for this male figures who have been only glimpses in her life. I know the concept of the book but obs it’s kept unclear as to who is who. I’m interested in this Variant world though for sure.
