Status Updates From The Devil Walks in Mattingly

I def feel more invested in the story, and I am really interested to see how Taylor and Lucy end up "working" together, especially when Taylor's plans become more clear to Lucy. She's painting him in a sympathetic light, even as a serial killer, curious to see what she'll excuse

I am trudging through the book, because there are some very interesting themes, but I seem to be having trouble with getting emotionally attached to the characters and the stakes at hand in the situations they find themselves in
