I did not enjoy this books compared to earlier ones. Something is stolen and Shardlake is tasked to find it. This took a long, tedious time to resolve. A great evocation of Tudor life in London along the way. A net full of red herrings and the dastardly appearance of Richard Rich, yet again. Lamentations indeed.
