Status Updates From Another Chance

I am finding many words spelled wrong, the use of wrong words, grammar errors, etc. I find this very off-putting when reading a book. The characters from the era Sarah transported to are using terminology that wasn't used until a century later..like the word 'gadget'. I'm finding the story to be more unbelievable as I read on.
