Status Updates From Crazy Daisy

Audio book read by the author! An interesting tale with bits that I fantastically loathed but it may just be because I associate them with moving—this was what I listened to for the last few frenzied days of packing, cleaning, and unpacking again. Some terrific and creepy horror elements.

While I enjoyed this story quite a bit, I tried and failed to start another book by him. Need a little break!

We've finally landed in a mental hospital. Definitely saw that coming. Dude just tore out his own tongue. Can a person even do that unpossessed...? And a character named Daisy has appeared. Hmm. The book is called Crazy Daisy, so I'm guessing she's important.

Okay, now we're getting into witchcraft and tomb desecration. Still good. Making me a little wary of butterflies, though, and I love butterflies.

Interesting so far. The chilling watery atmosphere has been set up.
