Back to reading again, after a long, long period of being unable to sit down with a book. Being able to engage with these minds again is a remarkable feeling.

Anyway, this is a classic from Kolchin. Full review to follow once I'm done, but I highly recommend this very tight and focused work for anyone who wants to understand the realities of slavery in America.
