Rereading this series in order to read the 5th book I had no clue about. I wish someone would make it into a movie series.

This book came out when I was in high school and it was one of my favorite urban fictions and reading it again I can see why (heavy eye roll on that 2000s brand colorism even back then it was so extra)

Red is on my list of faves in my favorite genre of character: Women Who Ain’t Shit. She was scandalous as hell and hilarious but she was a whole person with feelings and reasons (tw for her childhood). Loved it!
