"Camp after camp but for some reason this one felt different." This line makes me think that this will be Yanek's last camp before the war is over or he escapes. Also this is his 10th camp and on the blurb in says ten concentration camps.

"They're taking you to gas chambers!" (Page 117) This shows AHA Moment because as soon as Yanek got told that he was getting taken to gas chambers he was starting to panic. Yanek was afraid because he didn't know what to do because if he tried to escape the train he would get killed.

"They made some of the prisoners be the boxers and forced the rest of us to watch." This shows how cruel the Nazis were because they made malnourished and sick people fight to the death just for their entertainment.

"Now there was only me. Yanek. I was fourteen years old, and I was alone in the world again." (Page 86) This piece of evidence shows AHA Moment because whenever Yanek went to roll call he didn't see his Uncle Mosho in the same spot that they always meet up he was furious. He was so upset because that was the only person left in his family with him. So, now it was just him left and he had to figure out how to survive.

"What do all these little kids think? Do they just see us as animals?" This shows how different the world was back then because seeing people trapped in zoos treated as animals would send anybody with morals over the edge but back then it was different.
