Nothing happened so far and i need to find my book

I couldn't find my book and nothing has happened yet

I found today's reading really exciting. After the fight Alonso and Rosa were walking and they run into Rosa brother and they were talking about the fight and they starting talking about their experience with bad people and Alonso mentions when 6 people in ski mask broke his door at 2 am. I found this reading really interesting.

Today's reading was very intense the main character Alonso got into a fight by trying to stop a fight and his crush Rosa was watching the entire thing wanting to join in. I left off with Alonso laying on the floor. I'm very intrigued

Alonso which is the main character has a crush on this girl Rosa. Him and his dad work together to paint over graffiti. He gets stop by a bodyguard at a place they were painting threatening to shoot them if they didn't show him their IDs and Alonso kept fighting with the bodyguards about his rights.

There is this boy name Alonso who lives in Peru and is a teenager that lives in a poor community. His family got stopped by the cops and Alonso is refusing to give them his ID and his parent are yelling at him to. So far the book is very interesting.

i kind of blindly picked this book up at my school library and decided, "hey why not give it a try?"
So i'm hoping all goes well.
