I don't know why this is making me so emotional. Well, maybe I do. That feeling of being lost, waking up, and realizing you aren't where you thought you were, and aren't where you want to be. I also find myself swimming as far as I can out into the ocean, hoping no one will follow—that moment of serenity in the sea. I'm also deeply moved by the quiet intimacy of Edna and Robert. A soft love filled with devotion.

A banned book written in 1899. It was about women who wanted to feel and be themselves and not how their husbands expected them to be. Her work was rejected and she died not knowing that her work would be resurrected at some point.
