Status Updates From Head First SQL

Ciekawie i fajnie napisana książka. Na razie jestem zadowolony.
Lecz będzie re-read z notowaniem - gdyż dużo nowej dla mnie wiedzy.
Bazy danych w ciekawym, ujęciu takim z "jajem".
Ćwiczenia również w książce - można po niej pisać ;)
Do przerobienia na pewno trzy razy - ten trzeci już na komputerze.
Nabrałem chęci na inną pozycję z tej serii - niebawem będę czytał, jeśli będę miał trochę grosza.
Jedyna wada - CENA!

Finally done with chapter 4 and this was good

I'm feeling proud of myself. One chapter left to complete this book. Chapter 11 was pretty informative, and views seem promising. Last chapter is about security, so let's finish the book.

Chapter 10 read. Two left that I hope I can complete them today.

Even though I never planned to read two chapters I did it. It has been a bunch of concepts to learn, and definitely I need to put them into practice. Tomorrow I will be learning about outer joins, self-joins, and unions, so I am feeling excited. After that I will take a free day without reading in order to master these last 3 chapters.

Chapter 7 has been read. I am so happy that I have finally understood normalization. Now it is time to stick those concepts into my mind, and play creating tables. I am again excited about tomorrow because I will be learning how to make queries involving multiple tables. #MMGA

I have finished chapter 6. It is half the book, and a lot of stuff to practice. I am very excited about learning how to work with multiple tables, so tomorrow I will read just one chapter.

Chapter 5 is over. It was really quick. Now, I start seeing some limitations of sqlite3. Altering a table seems useful, but I need to learn about best practices to apply it.

Chapter 4 completed. I have learnt a bunch of new stuff. I am happy that finally I am understanding some concepts that were not clear before. No more reading for today now just PRACTICE.

Chapter 3 is read. It was almost just refreshing what I already knew, but refreshing is good for your memory. Now, Chapter 4. I am very excited about reading that chapter that teaches how to design a database.

I'm done with chapter 2. Finally I know how to use LIKE, BETWEEN and NOT. I have been such an ignorant all of this time, but not anymore.

First chapter completed. I know that I have pro improve my knowledge on databases, so though the chapter was pretty basic, I have learnt a lot.

So, I hope reading this book improve my knowledge on databases since though I have taken some short courses, I feel that I have a lot to learn.
