Ok, has the author ever even been to high school? Because really, what high school would just randomly stick a new girl on the cheerleading squad who did not even want to be there? Honestly. Cheerleading is a big deal. You have to try out for it and be voted in. In Texas, moms sometimes try to kill the girls who are competition. And in this book this girl just gets put on the squad?

Ridiculous, and not in the good way.
