Status Updates From Orchestrated Murder

I’m not used to a mystery wrapping up this quickly. I’m still deciding for myself while Pratt is wrapping it up! A nice read. Likeable characters. Light-hearted. I realized close to the end that a Rapid Read is really a novella. I’m not used to reading novellas. You have to think quicker in a way when verbalizing a mystery novella.

I found this by searching for Toronto and mystery in the Libby app for Toronto Public Library. The geographic markers sound like Toronto, but it’s the usual generic city names, Toronto subbing in for any big city. The book is under a Rapid Reads imprint, and boy it is a rapid read. Short chapters. Natural but snappy dialogue. Good characterization. Forgetting to verbalize as so easy to read/visualize!
