Seriously considering shelving this book! I’m only a third of the way through and the heroine is driving me nuts. Her ex is set out to be abusive, but it’s not ringing true to my experience and understanding of these type of relationships. Granted, I started at book 3, but I don’t think that’s the issue. She doesn’t seem like a real person, just a plot contrivance to make this story longer...
