Status Updates From Karachi: Our Stories in Our...

I think the only reason some of these stories are there in this collection is that they are about karachi, rather than their literary merit. Apparently, since this is the result of an open competition of sorts, Naqvi wanted to promote young writers (and wannabes; its not easy to draw a line often). That said, these stories do give multiple lenses to view this teemimg mass of humans anf their associated paranephilia.

Some interesting bits about the karachi violence or landmarks in the background. But no extraordinary prose or stories yet.
