The female protagonist is named Jackson but the author just called her "Mandy." If the author doesn't care, why should I?

Still not liking the main couple but there's some interesting themes that I'm excited to see how they are followed up on.

Ever read a book and feel like the author has tossed in a bunch of expletives just to be edgy? That's this book. I'm going to keep count in the next chapter just to prove a point to myself. Stay tuned.

Well, yay for being sick because that meant I couldn't sleep until much later and I could read. Not yay because it was a terrible night. Bleurgh.

So instead of reading, well, I did manage 2% more, I have been playing a VN. Oopsie. Were did my hour go? Oh yes, with magical girls and beaches. :P

This is either because of my 39C fever or because the book is slow, but I am just not getting through this easily. It is pretty great, and I love the combo of romance and zombies. I just keep getting distracted and reading manga or doing other things. :(

Not a bad book but also not a page turner. I thought it would be more scary and suspenseful. The insta love part is a bit ridiculous even though both characters are likeable so far.

after a fun light-hearted chicklit read, it's back on to the zombies!

I'm really liking this one! The h is strong and independent (she survived the apocalypse for two years mostly on her own!)
