I'm actually reading this book and the autobiography of Lindon Smith's wife Corinna, Interesting People, at the same time. I am progressing at about the same rate in each book.

I'm actually reading the autobiography of Corinna Lindon Smith, wife of Joseph Lindon Smith, first. It's called Interesting People: Eighty Years with the Great and the Near-Great--and it's not listed on Good Reads. Joseph Lindon Smith died before he could finish Tombs, Temples & Ancient Art, so Corinna organized what he had written, edited the material, and finished the book--and is listed as the editor.
