I wonder if this is the author's first book because there's a lot of head-hopping and internal dialogue; it's a bit distracting.

I was obviously expecting a lot of sex in this book given the premise, but I wasn't expecting it to be this boring. It's not the sex per se that is boring, but the lack of emotion and excitement in the book. I feel like I've just been flicking through the pages, skimming a whole lot of it, just waiting for something to catch my interest in the story, and so far I haven't found anything.
