I think the author missed the opportunity to make this story gay. I mean, the tension between the two main guy characters is hard to miss. The repeated assurance that they are 'heterosexual' (despite transferring selyn via lips contact and must find gf) and the mild homophobia just irks me out. But other than that this is truly a sausage fest (girls where?), yaoi paradise.

I think this would be better if the protagonist Valleroy weren't so... so... not dumb. And not thoughtless. Naive isn't right either. Insular? No, still not the word I'm looking for. Damn.

This is a very exciting book. The audio version is very well-narrated. I can't wait to find out what happens next!
