Very sad about Emma's birth mom but a great twist about Emma. LOVED Jake and his story. A wonderful tie in to the task force series without it being focused on a member of the task force but on members of the community that they are protecting.

So far I'm loving it. I read these books a bit like I'm playing clue trying to guess who the bad guy(s) is/are. I have an idea who attacked her in the parking lot. Loving Jake, nice to see him back after we were introduced to him back during the SWAT story line.
