131. Errico Malatesta: Toward Anarchy

Anarchy is a place we arrive at tomorrow, it is a goal we walk towards every day. Many people see Anarchy as unattainable so become disillusioned and go to other things, but we must remember the process and always challenge the State and Capital.

We should not be afraid to call a spade a spade and criticize all forms of organisation that are governmental in nature and that will perpetuate the oppression of the labouring masses.

127. Albert Jensen: The CNT-FAI, the State and Government (1938)

When counter-revolution erupted in Spain, the Republican government quickly imploded, so the fascist uprising was suppressed by the people itself. The CNT then faced the choices of making something new with itself, becoming a government, or joining a 'broad front' government. It chose the last and with it, true free revolution ended.

Woman is an individual first and foremost. Everything else, like motherhood, comes later if at all.
If we are to call ourselves anarchists or communists or whatever, we must believe and act with women as equals.

117. Alexander Berkman: The ABC of Communist Anarchism (1929)

We must treat everyone the same and not discriminate against those who may be less apt for the task or who are 'lazy' for a simple reason: We shouldn't further put down those who may by nature be less good at a job than another, and laziness is just someone who was pigeonholed into something they may have no interest in.

116. Voline: Anarchist Synthesis

Instead of trying to find the most minuscule differences to fight over, we should try to find similarities and work together.

The platform would become either a new government or at best a small group of like-minded individuals, neither of which could even bring about anarchism.

Meanwhile the main argument against the Platform is that it's a 'democratic centralist' organisation that puts order over anarchist principles.

115. The Platform and its Critics

Every anarchist 'platform' must have unity of ideology, strategy, tactics, and these must not clash with other platforms so as to advance all of anarchism together toward victory.

We cannot fight fascism by striking at some of its members, at best that does only small damage, at worst it strengthens fascism. Instead a far better way to fight fascism is to strike at its power base, economic and social isolation of the masses, and industrial production.

Fascism is by and large counter-revolution without a revolution in the first place. When the bourgeoisie feels that dropping the façade of liberal democracy worth it to prevent the workers from organising enough to even maybe threaten it.

Men make society, and society makes men. So how are we to change society if we need to break this vicious cycle first? Through propaganda, education, and militancy.

The civil fight against the capitalist can only go as far as when the capitalist won't tolerate any further decrease in profits, then it will become a militant fight against capitalist and state.
