almost done and it's turned out to be a really good read. More coming in the review...though I'm way behind on those too.

Wow! very dark, scary, and mature. It's abit confusing as it flips from scene to scene but the writing of each scene is fantastic! Dark, angry and sad all at the same time. And, I can now say, I know of at least one book where I like the first person-present tense point of view.
This is not for the feignt of heart, but it's very interesting and definately a "Thriller."

Okay, this is stabilizing into a really good story. The begining is a bit like the movie "Momento" (Which, I liked). It's got a good villain, and what appears to be a good Anti-Hero, not to mention a well written strong female Police Officer type.
All very good, and very different. We get flash-forwards in First Person-Present Tense (one of the first time's that's actually worked for me)...GOOD Read.

Wonderful Lady Cop! She's great, tough, smart and in charge. I like her.
Bellaleigh is experimenting (I hesitate to use that word) with First Person-Present Tense. I prefer Traditional - 1st Person Past Tense. He's impressed me with how he used it. There's a shifting of POV that appears to break rules, but, the first guys to point that out are the first to do it. It works for me too.
