So far, Java is reading to me very similar to C! Of course, the syntax to calling functions is a little different, and pointers are non-existant, but other than this, it is explainable why Java is an essential coding language for both app and web developers :) this book is awesomely concise, already recommend it!

Still amazed that I can understand/comprehend what's going on.

I'm including textbooks in my reading challenge. This is going to take me a good chunk of my time so it should count lol.

For complete java beginners. But not so interesting to read.

This book is not so good to be honest. It has good explanations although the examples are not the best. I consider that Java Head First is an amazing book compared with this. However, this is updated with Java 8. So far I haven't learnt something such amazing. I have just clarified some concepts and acquire a little bit of new knowledge.
