Status Updates From Hiroshima Dreams

What i have read about so far is that Hiroshima and her family went to pickup her grandma. Her grandma had told Hiroshima that "she was the one" but never understood what she meant, she then tried asking her grandma but she would never come out of her room because she was "shy" of being in America.

GOOD GOING ME. WAY TO STOP RIGHT WHEN augh spoilers but just know that there were tears, I chose the WORST place to stop.

Dialogue from page 86:
"I don't know. He was there and then not, like our lives. That's what they called it."
"What?"
"The bomb. They called it Little Boy. And years later, when I knew I was having a child, I prayed that it would be a girl, so I wouldn't have to think those words."

Such beautiful writing! My only gripe its that the little kids don't sound much like little kids, but all of the characters are so different and enjoyable already, so I don't mind terribly!

it's ok very interseting I enjoy this character she reminds me of myself. I love reading book about character that reminds me of myself.
