I love the pacing of this book. All the pov chapters are different and interesting, I can't wait to see how it ends

I’m really enjoying the characterization of Matt and Perrin since we’ve taken a bit of a detour from rand as he’s currently going through it from his connection to the one power is tainted. But all in all I would say this is the strongest of the starting three.

I love how everything is told from so many perspectives and leading to everyone joining together in the end ugh so good

I’m already liking it more than the first two books. Focusing on the other characters was definitely a good choice.

Lan and Morraine are annoying atm. They dipped out in the Great Hunt, and now show up out of the blue wanting to boss everyone around again (I miss Verrin). And Lan is basically a K Mart Arragorn, without any of his charisma - just the brooding.
I am not into the Egwene and Rand romance angle. Jordan keeps telling me that they love each other, but narratively has shown they aren't meant for each other.
