Status Updates From Zane's Trace

this book is awesome I love it more then I ever thought I would

I really like this book so far

zach is next to his dads grave and he talks to his dad and his dead dad is in his concsience and talks to him and tells him the story about the gun he had and he plans to kill himself with and tells the story on how he got the gun and how the gun gets passed down to fools who have foolish choices an helps guide them in the right direction

zach gets a new roommate and he likes hime because he's responsible etc.. he contemplates on how he's gonna kill himself and he stops at a gas station on the way, and he finds a girl named libba. Now him and libba and going the same way and he says, she gave him the stare as if she knew everything about him

zane goes on to tell a story on how in his freshman year of high school he shouted out to the whole class that he was going to have a seizure which he also keeps us up to die on the road trip he's taking to zanesville and the car is running smooth and tells a story of a gun that his mom used to kill herself and he refused to go to the funeral

Zane goes on to talk about what he would write on his walls and how is grandfather would be telling his sick mother this or his mom to do that all while she was ill. He also says that what he wrote would come true. He says that after he had a full-time bully and he would write on his walls that the bully has to leave and the very next week the bully left. He also talks about how writing prevented him from a seizure

he talks about the past and how he read a story about a magical kid who would write on his walks and they would come true. His mother became ill so he then started writing on his room walls hoping the same thing would happen like "give my mother her mind back". He was reminiscing on his drive to zanesville and cant help but to look a the empty dash waiting to be filled with words and drawing he wants.

he speaks in a peom type of way. he says "when i die i want to come back as a 1969 plymouth barracuda". This stands out because it may foreshadow something later in the book. he also goes on to describe the things that the car will have and about traveling to Zanesville Ohio

Zane now has a passenger now in his car. Her name is Libba she is a strong and sassy women. Zane is starting to hear voices he's already heard the story of 2 relatives that have already passed away. And one relative said that "You take the conditions of the mother". Now Zane is trying to find out what that means.

Zane is a mysterious and lonely person. In the book it states that " One straight shot" and that leaves me thinking if he shot someone. Perhaps the old man?
