Picked it up thinking it was a different book, but was pleasantly surprised! A little cliché but very humorous and touching and raw.

Oldukça müstehcen fakat çok iyi başladı kitap. Hikâye sürükleyici, gerçekçi ve çok güzel anlatıma sahip.

Topper's writing voice is amazing. Real and relatable in a heartbreaking way.

Lots of anger and cynicism so far.

It's taking me longer to read then I thought - a good thing 😊

I am about 20 minutes in and have already burst out laughing a few times.

Bah, cliche family drama novel. Not my cup of tea.

A bit on the graphic crude side---- but I'm laughing so hard with this book.

Come dice il vecchio motto, un buon discorso è come la gonna di una donna: abbastanza corto per tenere desta la tua attenzione, abbastanza lungo per coprire il soggetto. La corta gonna in denim di mamma non è un discorso, somiglia piuttosto ad una breve barzelletta spinta, del tipo che ti spediscono per email.

This is a juicy read so far. Along the same lines as The Nest--it has all the dysfunction of families centered around the patriarch with all of the sarcasm and sardonic tone you would expect out of a character whose wife cheated on him with his boss and whose life is falling apart.

I'm loving this book! Lots of good old fashioned family drama with a dash of humor. I've literally laughed out loud in a couple places, and the bantering between the adult siblings reminds me of how my sister and I speak to each other.

I have read the book and did not enjoy it

I am really loving this book so far, but I guess I kind of cheated by seeing the movie first.

"I'd give anything for him to be five again, happy and unbroken."
This sentence makes me incredibly sad.
