The moral universe in The Kite Fighters is in a family with two boys, the older one represents the family, so it is the older one that takes the imperial exams to get a government position. The older one is the more important one, that represents the family. If they fail, then it is reflected on the family, as a result, the older one is the most cared for, and does more important things, like trips, and ceremonies.

I think this book is realistic fiction, or historical fiction because it depicts the life of two brothers in ancient korea and could have happened

The archetype is character archetype, and it is like the developing of the characters, like young-sup, kee-sup, and the King. It is also about showing the reader what life was like, you had to represent your family if you are the oldest.

I think its an interesting book, looking at another culture. But I don't know that kids would be interested in it.
