I am going to speed through this series. Love it.

Really enjoying this so far! However there are a couple of peeves. Jack is colorblind, yet he notices the green of Oz. He also has no ears, yet he can hear. Also Tip and Jinjur's army aren't wearing glasses--what do they see? Shouldn't they be blinded? Anywho, I like Jinjur's army since they use knitting needles... I wonder what size?

This isn't the exact copy I am reading from, it's the only one that I could find that lists story number 2 by itself.

This is a buddy read starting Oct 1.

The Army of Revolt, an all girl army with knitting needles as weapons have taken over Scarecrows kingdom of Oz. When Scarecrow returns he finds the men in aprons and minding the children, conpletely at a loss as to how women get anything done all day.

My 5 year old wasn't into it so we skipped ahead to the next book. The third book tells what happens in this book and she sounded a little more excited about it, so we may go back and finish it after we finish book 3.

My daughter does not like this book as much as the first one. I may need to skip ahead.

I'm pretty sure I remember what happened to Ozma. These last few chapters will be a good test of my memory.

I'm enjoying rereading this book. Though I should probably take a break from all the children's literature after I finish it.

It really has been ages since I've read this book. I'd forgotten H.M. Woggle-Bug was in it.

I had completely forgotten about General Jinjur.

We've met Tip and Jack Pumpkinhead, and the sawhorse has just been brought to life.

I love Tip and Ozma's origin story.

Jack Pumpkinhead is hilarious. I think I like this more than "Wizard"

I'm not really enjoying this as much as I wanted to, i am completely indifferent about half of what is happening, but it's so pro women for a book written by a man over 100 years ago!

The Wogglebug's puns are such fun; I wish the others wouldn't shut him up.

This book continues to delight. The heartless squabbling of the characters is especially amusing to read, ans so odd!

And, now, to meet the Gump. Recipient of the remaining bits of magic dust!

In its way, this story is just as curious and engaging as the original.

Off to an interesting and twisted start. These books are really pretty different from cultural perception.

I'm almost done and I am so interested. When the denial army took over oz just to get the gewls it REALY made me angry. At first I was all like girl power but now I'm like the are stupid jerks. I'm having a little trouble understanding stuff about this wiggle bug thing. He is a little confusing. But overal I thick it is a good book so far.

Read in small portions, this is very entertaining.
