this is so odd 😂

This book really throws me off my feet with:
-causal misogyny
-causal talk about murder
-causal slavery
Like WOWWWWWW😂😂😂

Never thought the creepiest thing I'd read would be in a children's book (this is becoming a theme with reading the OZ books)
But yeah.a field of sunflowers having the faces of young girls and laughing is really just not what I signed on to read ∑(ΦдΦlll

Of all the things I thought I'd read in a children's book,an all female revolt to overthrow the patriarchy in the land of oz was not one of them (・∀・)

This is still a good light read (─‿─)
I was kinda surprised that Dorothy wasn't in this,but Tip is a pretty nice kid,real good at dodging questions too.

the heartwarming sequel to the wonderful wizard of oz will blow you away. tip escapes from the wich and creates a pumpkinhead. he then creates the saw horse. then jinjur takes control of emerald city. he gathers some friends and try to save emerald city. they learn about the mysterious ozma who tgey later find out is tip!

this book is heart warming and interesting .

An army of women want to overthrow the Scarecrow because the emerald city is hording all the pretty clothes and jewels....

Chapter 11.
Time for the Scarecrow, along with our other 3 main characters, to visit the Tin Woodman.

Chapter 6.
The group heading to the Emerald City now includes Tip, Jack Pumpkinhead, and The Saw Horse. I'd say "We're off to see the Wizard." The Scarecrow is in charge of the Emerald City.

Starting Chapter 4 of 24.
Tip and Jack Pumpkinhead are on their way to the Emerald City.

Starting Chapter 2.

Before they get inside the girls are told by the Guardian of the Gate to go home and "milk the cows and bake the bread." But they cry out "WE ARE NOT AFRAID!" and begin to poke him with glittery knitting needles. The fact that this was all written by a man over 100 years ago is pretty cool to me. You don't see an army of four hundred girls in a lot of books so I enjoyed this chapter.

I just finished chapter 8 and I loved it. Here Tip meets General Jinjur and her army of women. He follows them to their planned revolt on The Emerald City. It was the first chapter I couldn't get enough of! It was fun to read about the girls breaking through the doors and conquering the city, and without any bloodshed might I add.

I am absolutely loving this! LFB transports me to such magical places.
