I feel like I'm missing some sort of symbolism because there's no way a book is this weird for no reason.

The introduction of the revolutionaries seems a bit sudden.

Tip is really Ozma. Tip doesn't want to be a girl but he is a girl and really Ozma.

Glinda is not soft and puffy, she is tough as nails!

They are all stuck in the nest trying to escape using the wishing pills. They have created a paradox in wishes.

The Gump has been brought to life to help them escape.

Tip, the scarecrow, the sawhorse, the tinwoodman and the woggle bug must escape from the capitol again.

We have just met the Woggle bug.

Jack Pumpkin head and the Scarecrow are ridiculous.

No Dorothy. It's all about Tip and Jack Pumpkin Head.

So it its very amusing, maybe better than the first. I really don't like all these living things that have been created though. The flying thing its just bizarre and kind of pathetic...

General Jinjer and the girls are revolting and taking over Oz. There is a much better use for ask those gems--bracelets and necklaces and such...their weapons? Knitting needles, yes, knitting needles. Anyone else rolling on the floor laughing right now?

The Highly Magnified Woggle-Bug T.E. has got to be my favorite Oz character. I love the way he insists on making puns (as a sign of how thoroughly educated he is) and how the rest of the characters just glare and him or tell him flat-out to knock it off with the puns.

This book is hilarious.

I'm loving this! Much better than the first one, in my opinion.

I remember reading and enjoying these books when I was a kid, and have been trying to get my own kids to read them. So when we needed a new book recently, we dove into this one. I'm enjoying this far more than I thought I would. I didn't realize Baum had such a fantastic wit.

While we were at the pool, my daughter wanted to be Jack Pumpkinhead while she rode on top of me, the saw horse. Then she wanted me to play the part of Mombi and she'd be Tip. Only, this time Tip would get turned into a statue. It beats having to play the part of a Disney princess any day. I wonder why this book wasn't more popular. It's very entertaining.

Neylan doesn't want to finish this one now. I'm glad that I've read it already, because otherwise I'd have to read it by myself. :P

Hoh! Not that bad of an ending. Still felt it was a bit harsh with the pumpkin.
