Status Updates From Blood Lust

I don't care if she was only a teenager when all of this happened to her. I don't care if she supposed to have been conditioned like a Pavlovian dog. I don't care if she's supposed to have Stockholm Syndrome or whatever. Right now she is TSTL and I kind of hate her.

If this wasn't for a challenge I would not be finishing it. Period.

Why would any author think that first person present tense is a good way to tell a story. It's not. It's just not.

I'm sort of hating this book but the end is suppose to be good according to the reviews...she is pretty much being abused and torture and keeps begging him for more..uggg

Now to review this...and do it justice.

“Shit, that hurt! You bitch!”
I ignore that remark, which saves Manny’s life, and step
up the stairs toward my master.

I finish and wipe my face off on Paul’s expensive sport
coat, unconcerned about stains. After all, he won’t be
needing it again.

His blood is a traitor’s blood. It tastes foul to me even as I gorge myself on it. But Antonio told me to feed, and unlike the unfortunate Paulie, I obey my family. I choke it down, feeling it spread through my body like whiskey, warm and aged. It puts a flush on my pale cheeks; I can feel them
burning as the blood, someone else’s blood, courses through
me.

Tonight, I will teach him a lesson, the last one he’ll ever learn:
Don’t cross Antonio.
