So Mana came across as a bit of a wet blanket in the first book, but she's being outright unlikable in her own one. I can kind of see her point of view on things, but I can't say I'm sympathetic. Also, scene with the council about Pascale was judgy, and really didn't endear Mana to me. I'm only excited for Vaughn.
