Why did this book only start ACTUALLY getting interesting towards the END, with the zombies becoming more of a focus, more of a threat?

Soooo…

Ali told Dan during one of their, “sexy cuddle times”, that she did NOT want to have a thruple with Finn, that she only loved Dan. Now she wants him? And Finn couldn’t take no for an answer when she told him to stop?

Tell me again why this is considered hot?!

And again… have we forgotten that there are ZOMBIES OUTSIDE?!

I just can’t get over the whole, “they LITERALLY all just met a few days ago, and they’re already in love with each other, already fucking each others brains out, possibly using expired condoms, and oh… yeah… there are zombies… kinda. They don’t seem to be a major threat, though, if Dan and Ali are noisily fucking each others brains out.

has anyone sat down and counted how many times Ali has said, “rabbity”, in this?

Because holy hell, I think it now rivals how often Rhys picks a bit of invisible lint from his shoulder… 😑

So, I started listening to Flesh via a recommendation from a friend, because Ray Chase voices Daniel and Flynn in this. But I’m going to be perfectly honest… he’s the saving grace of this audiobook so far. Elena, sorry, but… your acting in this comes across so insanely flat and dry.

Also not a fan of this, “literally just met her and claiming her as MY girl”, bullshit.

At this point I’m just reading to see how much more ridiculously it can get

This is top contender for worst book of the year.

Ali is the biggest idiot.

Im blaming the author for being in a book slump and it ain’t a positive things. This book it so much insta love. Lack of world build. Not enough plot thus far.

This is my least favorite thus far.
