The first chapter was very repetitive but I think it’s to help the reader understand the authors main themes in the book. The second chapter was so much more interesting. I found that the bluebeard story was so profound and its meaning could be literal or mental. I’m excited to keep reading this book!

I feel like some of the authors opinions are contradictory to her premise of “women should be who they truly are, their unapologetic, “wild” selves.” Some comments are judgmental and critical of certain types and characteristics of women.
