*sigh* This doesn't read as a romance. The romance is minimal and certainly not the focus. The focus of this is the homophobia and the abusive ex. 😞

*sigh* so much from book one .... now little glimpse of them together and time jump being told in summary that they'd been on x-amount of dates during those weeks. *sigh*

This book had a metric shit ton of break down scenes where the book crossed over with the first one, which was to be expected, but really took away from the book in some ways.

The sex has been sweet and slow. A bit vanilla.

There have been a lot of recaps in this book, but I guess that's unavoidable with overlapping timelines.

I think this book had the most awkward first date scene I've ever seen in my life. Kudos for that one. I felt so uncomfortable I could barely stand to read it.

And here comes again the "barebacking equals real love" stuff.

Ugh, I hate this about this author - and a couple more.

This books has less than 200 pages, and half of those are useless retell of Coming Home's plot.
It's starting to get good just now.

Reading again what a douchebag Drew was in the first book is NOT fun or working in the book's favor.
