I've reached a point in the story where everything is set up for the big finish. So I'm excited to see how it plays out. I would continue reading, but I'm really tired.

The main story is picking up but a slow burn at the same time. I thought it was hilarious that in one of the chapters, the character was reading a story. So I ended reading a story inside of the story, which was a first lol.

The main character's rambling-style narrating is still a thing. So I can see it being somewhat confusing for some readers to keep up with the story, along with the constant random tangents.
I've never read a book that had a description of how it felt to be high. So to do that for damn-near an entire chapter was amazing and interesting to read for the first time, personally.

It starts off slow. It was a bunch of rambling with the main character's inner-monologues. But once you get a few pages in Chapter 2, specifically when the main character tells a story about his Dad, then it gets interesting.
