It's been more than 20 years since I read this book. I remember being bored and putting it away after reading half of it.

A year later I continued reading right where I had stopped. I finished it the same day. And since then this bittersweet love story had stayed with me.
Now I'm half way through again. Not being bored, because now I also know what will be coming. But man, it's a slow burn.... 😆

Another re-read. It's been two decades since I read this book.
This time I'm reading the english original noch the german translation.

the lack of homophobia & the lack of sodomy talk bother me a lot lk

"bare skin and colourless nipples, as innocent as a child’s" EWWWWWW also the italics are pissing me the fuck off. must every five chapters have a full phrase with this cheap emphasis????

I like the style so far.
