I tried to read the interview stuff but it just had too many words I didn’t understand because of the references to other stories…

I wonder if that Superboy did ever escape again. The DC world has been rebooted at least twice since this book I think, new 52 and Rebirth, though this could be the start of one of those reboots, I don’t really keep up.

It isn’t enough they just stopped the multiverse creation/destruction, now they’ve got to deal with every meta human prisoner attacking Metropolis??

Definitely feel like I missed some stuff with Chemo and whatever Nightwing was up to before this moment. Darn crossovers that don’t include all the parts…

Really going for creepy old man Superman there with the lazy eye look…

What are they even thinking with Power Girl’s boobs?

The flashbacks are so good. Such clever story writing. I love the golden era heroes facing off against the Earth-one heroes. Reminds me a lot of the super friends cartoons I watched as a kid.

Issue #2 did a great job recapping Crisis on Infinite Earths and some of the preludes, such that even though I have not read those comics, I felt the impact of them. This really is just expert storytelling so far. Geoff John’s is a genius.

My first crisis. Issue #1 did a good job of laying the groundwork and summarizing all of the preludes to IC. The trinity is fractured, for good reason. Geoff Johns and team did a great job coming up with compelling reasons for the group to be in turmoil.

The star-studded villains aren’t pulling punches either. I’m excited to see what the rest of Infinite Crisis holds.

issue 5 read. despite my lack of prior reading i’ve fully grasped what the motive of the makeshift villains are. got to get my first look at jaime’s beetle in the comics and it looks like he’s going to have a bigger role to play in the finale. jumping around between places has got worse now that there’s multiple earths but i’m able to keep track of it all.
still 3 stars and i don’t see it changing

back to it with issue 4. things are really heating up now with the villains revealing themselves and apparently succeeding? Alexander Luthor playing a tetta role was surprising although it’s disappointing they built up spectre as the main villain only for him to be a pawn. jaime recognising superheroes as they’re on his toothpaste tube is hillarious i love that kid

Issue 3 done.
another issue jumping around a lot but i’m low-key enjoying it. got to see atlantis (which i understood as i watched aquaman yesterday), and a cool parallel page which showed batman and power girl finding who’s responsible simultaneously in different places. got to see the main villain for the first time which is cool although not sure what he’s actually doing and jaime gets the scarab.

2nd issue done. Probably only going to read 1 issue per reading session as they’re long chapters and there’s so much to take in. Old man alternate reality Superman to the rescue here spending most the chapter providing background information which i desperately needed. i’m getting the hang on what’s happening now and it’s looking promising especially because jaime gets the scarab next issue.

1st issue done and whilst i don’t know everything that’s going on i like it. i’m getting introduced to a bunch of new characters and there’s been some cool fights. Wonder Woman is a murderer so there’s conflict between her, batman and superman although it jumps around a lot so is a bit confusing. about 3 stars so far

While the memory of Crisis on Infinite Earths is still fresh, I shall go and take a stab at this book. Crazy. This lockdown anxiety have pushed me towards impulsive buying of books on sale at ComiXology and Amazon. Man, I have to catch-up! Else these will decay in digital dust. (73 Books now in ComiXology, 78 on my Kindle, and am not counting the physical books that gather actual dust on my shelf).
