It’s okay. Kind of boring, idk if I’ll finish it because of how not interested I am. Jaron went from cool dude in the first book to lowkey kind of selfish and just not it. I don’t like his plans and the way he treats Imogen and Amarinda is just not cool. He also could probably do a better job getting his enemies out of the government if he is so worried about that like cmon dude

Setting: The setting of this book is in a kingdom called Carthya and the neighboring land called Avenia. I know this because in the beginning of the book it introduces the Main character and Kingdom that he lives in. I later goes on to explain that the kingdom is threatened by Avenia. This is how I know where the setting of the book is.
