Interesting enough so far but the writing style is childish and irritating :(

Well, it might be that I was on chapter 22....I don't really remember.....it was quite a while ago after all....

Great so far. The summary on the back cover hardly does the world/story's complexity justice, but nonetheless, great read so far.

How many pages of chapter 1 did I just skip over?...

What is with the weird dialect of writing?

Just finished and kind of enjoyed this book. Sort of meanders along somewhat but does have some interesting characters and has possibilities of being a good series of books. Would recommend for fun, easy going reading

Pain and suffering

This book is something else entirely.

I'm getting through this very slowly. It's partially 'cause I've been busy... but partially because the story isn't exactly riveting. It's all very standard so far.

I do like the character of Gar... but I'm not really invested in the characters/world thus far.

I'm also a bit saddened to do the math and realize I still have so much further to go...

Stopped reading after a while. Had other stuff that I thought might be better. I did think they gave up the plot to early. Still interested in what happens though

It's been soooo long since I read some high fantasy, so this will, hopefully, be a quite good and nostalgic read!

Almost done, got the next book on my shelf!

overall, not an terrible book. at times it suffers from telling and not showing but the characters manage to be interesting. the pacing is a bit wonky but I'd recommend this book to anybody who wants a look into the life of a hero's underappreciated sidekick.

So far love the book reminds me a lot of The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

This book sucks! Anybody reading this comment I stress to you don't buy this book!! The $10 can be put to much better use, like purchasing a brick to hit yourself in the head with!

94 pages in and I don't like it, to bad I already bought its sequel. Guess I'll have to finish them both whether I like them or not.
