The reviews for this book had put me off reading it. I didn't expect much from it, but I have to say I am enjoying it. Also, I'm shipping Asher and Gar so hard! Fane is a right piece of work. And for reasons I haven't quite figured out, I dislike Dathne, almost as much as I dislike Fane.

I can only force myself to read 10 pages at the time...*cringes*

I'm hating the m/c already. Considering DNFing it...

The way the sentences are formed has me *cringing* so bad

This could have easily been a m/m fantasy book

Chapter 15: Maybe it's because I'm listening to the audio-book but this book got me tearing up

Chapter 14: The fact that they allow this 16 year old to continuously call her brother a cripple (magically not psychically) is horrible I know they scold her but if she is 16 and still saying those types of things they obviously have not punished her enough

End of Part 1: I really enjoy this book so far and can't imagine why it has such low ratings
The bromance in the book is amazing the plot is developing nicely and Ga is the best character

Chapter 6-7: The friendship is developing beautifully and watching Ga with his family was really eye opening and his family has such interesting dynamics

Chapter 4-5: If this book maintains this pure friendship though out the book I will sing its praises
Just 5 chapters in and I'm hoping that destiny has them forever linked

Chapter 3: Asher being worried about not having the opportunity to talk to Ga

Chapter 2: This is actually making me laugh 😂 Audio-book is amazing
The only problem I can see developing with this book is Asher's arrogance but Kirby Heyborne's narration is so good that I don't mind it

Chapter 1:...Bromance?! I love a good bromance in my books! Especially if it is a relationship I can watch develop! And the difference in their social standing GAH! I love it! 'Develop a bromance b4 you develop a romance' That is my motto
And the way they met Hella romantic I'm just sayin' 😍

It's not going there :( The main character is into someone else (at least for now..) And I noticed the author does write about male friendships in a very touchy feely way. Which isn't a bad thing per se, just may have set up false expectations of slashiness :p

I've been meaning to add this book for a while - I got it for our spring break trip. But anyway, right now I wanted to say that it's getting a bit slashy.. :D And I really wonder if it's going to head overtly in that direction, or this is just how the author writes about male friendship. Wouldn't be the first.. :D

It's heating up quickly! This book is becoming very hard to put down!

Nearly half way through. While the action hasn't really picked up, or even happened, the story is compelling and characters are very well written. Plenty here to keep me interested and continuing the journey.

Starting slower than I typically like but the story is pulling me in to keep me reading. Hopefully more action or suspense comes in soon. Book is very well written but getting a bit to descriptive than I like. I'll stick it out though.

This is completely not what I expected so far but I'm liking it!
