Status Updates From The Kindness of Strangers

When I read the plot summary for this book and it said that “Jordan suffers a tragedy leaving him without a family” I assumed it meant his parent died unexpectedly. What happened was so much worse than that. It’s horrific, disgusting and so sad. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to finish this one. It kept me up at night worrying about my kids.

This book, which took place in Ohio, was on my to read list for a long time. I finally picked it up, but it was very heavy and hard to read before going to sleep. The content included pedophiles exploiting their own children, but it was also a great story of helping others.
