This book is opting for the "beastliness as a metaphor" rather than a literal beast which is always a darn shame but I really enjoy Wolfe's writing style and have a feeling I'm going to like this despite that personal stumbling block.

This is the first book I’ve read/listened to as part of the “Lesbian Book Club” group. The book is entertaining, but the narrator is REALLY bad, making for a very disappointing experience overall.
