Status Updates From Art and Lies

oh this is very very thought provoking. i didn’t expect it to be so political (in a magnificent way). 32 year old book still feeling fresh. i don’t know where the plot will take us but even if it continues as it is it will be one of the best books I’ve read this year.
(I also didn’t realized I missed reading Jeanette Winterson so much.)

I'm back to this after all my exams and I can't remember a thing, only how it felt. but it's quite prose-prone and it's 17:00 and the blinds are down and my belly is full and eyes are dangerously threatening to close.

I have a mere eighth left but I feel like she has so much more to express and how could she possibly sum it up in the remainder? Her writing is addictive and I have to read Sappho’s parts in the early morning fresh out a dream otherwise midday sweat and logic get in the way

Already said plenty of my collected thoughts and got me writing prose or poetry or whatnot while doing the laundry. That’s always a good sign.
